Whoops!

Okay, so there is a major change to my last update. The Mother's Day celebration will be held at Marci's house, not Taunie's. Sorry to confuse everyone. The party will start at 4:00, and we will be having dinner there. So, bring your own hot dogs, buns, and a potluck item to share. And by the way, if you were thinking about not going, my mom is going to make her famous beans, so grab a cup, cause they're bound to be delicious! Hope to see you all soon!

May is Coming!!!

Well, I'll start out with birthdays in May to remember: Taylor, Keith, Karlene, Kyle, Tina, Sara, Sienna, Jamie, Carl, and Fisher. What a good month to be born! Happy birthday to all of you!

We have a few things going on this month. The first is a baby shower for Jamie on the 9th at 11:30 at Debbie's house! It will be lots of fun, so make sure you go.

The next big thing is of course Mother's Day on the 10th. Don't forget to do something extra special for your mothers, they deserve the best! Also, Taunie will be hosting the celebration at her house from 5:00-7:00, so if you want to visit, and wish Grandma a happy Mother's Day also, that's the place and time to do it.

Hope you all had a wonderful April, and are ready to move on to May, it's coming quickly! Any changes or updates would be appreciated! Also, we can't wait to hear all about Kyle and Jen's new baby, so let us know how everything goes with that. I will be letting people know about our new baby as well, so be excited to hear from us! Love you all!

Don't be April fooled!

It will be April this week, so everyone remember not to get fooled on Wednesday! I know we have some tricksters in this family, so watch out! Among April Fool's Day, we have general conference coming up this weekend, I know I'm excited, I just wish it was a few dozen degrees warmer. Easter vacation for some of those in school is the 6th - 10th. Also, Easter is the 12th, so I hope everyone has a great Easter Sunday!
There are a lot of birthdays this month, so hopefully there will be a lot of celebrating! Happy Happy Birthday, one and all!
- Ken, Kristy, Kameron, Kurt, Chaz, Dave, Eric, Tyler, and Adrian.
Hopefully we'll get more chances to see each other this month. The third Sunday at Grandma's is the 19th. We look forward to each opportunity that we have to spend time with family - especially such a good one as ours! Love you all!

March Is Here!

Well, there isn't much on the calendar for this month, but I'm sure that won't stop us from being busy. Anyway, I've got the 3rd Sunday at Grandma's on the 15th, and then the Spring Clean-Up at Grandma's on the 28th at 9:00 am. Also, don't forget next Sunday the 8th is Daylight Savings Time!!! Spring Forward, so set your clocks ahead an hour on Saturday night, or you'll be late to church.
Birthdays for this month - Steve, Alyssa, Austin, Afsonai, and Laura. Hope you all have happy birthdays, with lots of cake and celebration!
Don't forget to wear green on the 17th - it's a Tuesday this year, and maybe even break out the corned beef and cabbage! Love you all, have a great March!

February Already?

First of all, happy Groundhog's day, Valentine's day, and President's day to everyone! For the calendar, we have the 3rd Sunday at Grandma's on the 15th, and the family snowmobile trip is going to be on the 20th and 21st. We are going to be staying at Zermott this year, and from what I've heard, it's a fabulous place to stay and swim!!! So, hopefully we'll get a bunch of people coming this year, as always, the more the merrier!
And wishing all of the February birthdays a great big happy one, here's the list of people with birthdays: Kami, Dallin, Kaylee Von, Big A, Marilyn, and Jaden.
Hope you all have a happy February, and hopefully we'll see you soon!

More updates

My mom just told me that the 3rd Sunday at Grandma's is going to change this month to the 4th Sunday, so those people going on the snowmobiling trip can still come. So, if you are planning a visit to Grandma's this month, make sure you've got the right Sunday. Also, Kenyon's birthday is this month as well, so happy birthday to you, big 3 year old! Thanks Karlene for your list of birthdays!!!

Christmas Party Pictures, and January Events

Here's Grandma opening a present.

Spencer is playing a Japanese instrument for his talent. He did a great job!

Cooking Aebleskivers!!!!

Karlene and Linsey, and a few others.

Lots of fun eating as many aebelskivers as possible. I'm not sure who won this year, Kurt or Chaz?

Who ate all the ham? Oh, I think that was Carl!

Looks like we're missing a few people at the party! We sure missed those who couldn't make it!

The Jackman table pigging out!

Everyone sure did have a great time!

Here are some of the cooks that finally got to eat!

Hey, where's the food?

January events:
We'll start with the birthdays for this month; Happy birthday to Shane, Lexi, Jane, Micki, Cactus(Heath), and anyone else I missed - hope you have a good one!
The adult calendaring party is coming up this Friday at Grandma's, so we should have some fun things coming up this year - can't wait to put 'em on my calendar!
The Grey's snowmobiling trip is also this month. We are going Friday the 16th through the 19th, so if you're wondering where everyone is, now you'll know. I think that's about it for January, unless anyone has anything else to add, let us know! We want to hear all about the U game from Marilyn and her family - it was a great game, I can't imagine how much fun it must have been to be there! Hope your January is a wonderful one!
